While I continue to cast a wide net in life searching for new challenges, I do know I have a passion for great user and customer experiences and a fascination with technology. I first earned an associate degree in computer science and worked in computer operations for a few years. I then returned to college and earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science. After working as a software engineer using real-time embedded systems, I made the move to the Internet and database-driven websites. Eventually I became aware of the concepts of user-experience and information architecture and learned everything about them that I could. Along the way I also learned some graphic design, but I'm not a professional graphic designer. I believe in lifelong learning and taking Seth Godin's altMBA class was an intense example of that.

Apart from spending time with my wife and daughter, I also enjoy motorcycling and photography, to name a couple of my many interests. All of the images on this site were created by me. I've had the opportunity to ride by motorcycle to Florida, Nova Scotia, South Dakota, and Arizona from our home in central PA.
